The CIO–CxO Conclave 2026 brings together senior technology and digital transformation leaders from banking, telecom, energy, agritech, manufacturing and the public sector to focus on one thing: execution.

Under the theme “The CIO as Business Strategist,” the Conclave is built around practical conversations on how technology leaders are moving beyond systems management into real business impact. The discussions will centre on infrastructure resilience, cybersecurity readiness, governance discipline and the role of CIOs in safeguarding mission critical platforms that the country increasingly depends on.

The engagement is co convened with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, creating a working space where government, regulators and enterprise technology leaders can align on priorities that shape Uganda’s digital future.

This is not a talk shop. It is a closed room of decision makers. CIOs, CTOs, regulators and institutional leaders responsible for large scale systems come together to compare what is working, what is failing and what must change going into the next phase of digital transformation.

The Conclave will also set the tone for the 2026 CIO–CxO Digital Transformation and eGovernment Leadership Awards to be held later in the year, recognising institutions and leaders driving measurable impact through technology.
